Monroe, LA (July 29, 2025) – On the evening of July 28, a vehicle accident disrupted traffic along Interstate 20 West in Monroe. The crash occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m., just before the US 165 interchange, blocking the right lane and leading to a significant traffic backup approaching Garrett Road.
Emergency personnel were dispatched swiftly to the scene, where they provided aid and directed traffic away from the blocked lane. At least one person sustained injuries in the crash and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
