Monroe, LA (December 23, 2023) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a car crash that occurred on Wednesday in Monroe. The Louisiana Police Department was notified of the crash at around 11:20 a.m. on December 20.
According to authorities, a collision occurred on Interstate 20 westbound in the area near mile marker 92. The crash caused congestion in the area between mile marker 92 and mile marker 90 as emergency crews worked to clear the roadway and remove the involved vehicles. At least one of the involved parties was transported to a local medical facility, where they were treated for injuries that they suffered in the crash. The state police are currently investigating the incident.
