Madison Parish, LA (October 2, 2023) – The Louisiana State Police confirmed that 28-year-old Darryon Morris and 37-year-old Nathan Barnett lost their lives as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Madison Parish.
On Thursday, September 28, the police were called to the scene of an accident that took place on US Highway 80.
Reports from LSP indicate that just after 5:00 p.m., a Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by Kevonta Everett was involved in a collision in the area near Delhi. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to go off the side of the roadway and overturn.
Two people were ejected from the vehicle. The victims, identified as Morris and Barnett, were severely injured. Burnett was pronounced deceased on-site due to his injuries. Morris was transported to an area hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries.
At this time, the accident is being investigated.
